Home information Packs

From December 14th 2007 all properties that are on the market for sale will need to have a Home Information Pack (HIP), however a property can be marketed as long as a HIP has been ordered. The  HIP will contain:

• An Index 
• The Energy Performance Certificate
• Sales Statement
• Evidence of Legal title
• Searches
  Additionally for leasehold properties it will contain: 
• Copy of the lease
• We are able  to provide our customers with a competitively priced Home Information Pack, exclusive to the Institute of Domestic Energy Assessors accredited members.

Energy Performance Certificates

EPCs enable property buyers to compare the efficiency of a potential home before they buy it or even put in an offer. Prepared by a qualified Home Inspector and Domestic Energy Assessor, the certificates will give home buyers and sellers A to G ratings for their home’s energy efficiency and carbon emissions, together with current average costs for heating, hot water and lighting. Practical steps will also be given on how to reduce carbon emissions and save on energy bills.

At Tapply Property Services an accredited Domestic Energy Assessor will visit the property and gather information about the house and then enter this into a computer software program which then creates the Energy Performance Certificate which will be sent to you.
We aim to produce an EPC within three working days of your instruction to assess the property.
